World Market

Concept Design

With designers like Ulla Johnson at the forefront, the season took a delicate turn. Soft pastels and hand-crafted textures led us to Jaipur, India, otherwise known as The Pink City. With a brand like World Market, it's important to dig to the root of a trend and find the source of inspiration. This gave me the foundation I needed to build the color palette and visual direction. By linking these back to future forecasts and must-have items, I was able to provide World Market with a robust narrative for the upcoming season. ‍ Seasons change and with an ever changing assortment, continuity is key so I pulled together a transitional forecast for the Summer to follow to show how these trends would progress and transform.

This was a quick project pulled together over the course of a few weeks. I created a trend forecast and concept direction for Cost Plus World Market for the Spring '19 season. Consisting of color, materials, and key items, I give the brand a strong direction for the season ahead. ‍ Project includes trend analysis, color forecast, concept direction, materials & application, and transitional forecast to the upcoming season.
